Intro
I've arrived at a great point in my journey where I can take a step back and look at everything I have achieved in the last 100 days. I have learned more about programming than I ever knew before. I acquired new skills, got better at building a website, learned to draw pixel art, and even improved my writing. I'll walk through the skills that have improved and what to look forward to next in this blog post
HTML
HTML is one of the most basic skills that I have, but one of the skills that I have used the most. I have learned a bunch when it comes to HTML. I have started to use sections and other elements that I never thought about using before. I also have started to get used to working with the head element in HTML documents. This ranges from meta tags, and stylesheets to simple titles and favicons.
CSS
CSS has been another skill that has come a long way. I have learned how to start using Flexbox, CSS grid, and even started to work with media queries. These have all been super useful skills that have leveled up my design. I have even started to work with different backgrounds. CSS is something that I used to dread. Now it's another skill that has improved a ton.
Javascript
Javascript is a skill that I already thought I had a good handle on. There hasn't been as much improvement, but I have definitely pushed my boundaries with this and learned to become a strong programmer. I have stopped using Var in turn for LET and CONST. I have learned how to use classes and even started to use promises. There is a bunch more to learn in this language but I have been making leaps and bounds.
PHP
PHP was something I didn't want to touch even with an 8-foot poll. Now I have started to make requests with it for forms. I have been using PHP to gather information from a SQL database. I think this is a pretty great leap.

Python
Another language that I have only sort of learned but never applied. I got a great opportunity to use this language through work. I got to learn great frameworks in Dash Plotly, flask, pandas, and even Matplotlib. I'm sure there will be a chance to work with numpy. The ceiling is endless really at this point. If I can get paid to learn I'm all for it.
SQL
SQL was a skill that I knew the bare minimum with since I had to use Microsoft Access at one point in my career. Now with work, I have been making queries like it's nothing. Plus with the website, I have been building out tables and making schemas for my own database.

Art
Okay, I'm still not the best artist but hey I'm getting better. I had no idea what I was doing with pixel art before. Now I have enough knowledge to be dangerous and that feels awesome. I have been practicing a bunch on 16x16 art, it's tough but worth it.
